Changzhou, China – On January 26, 2026, the National Standard "Plastic Bucket" (Plastic Pail) drafting group working meeting was successfully held in Changzhou City. The meeting was hosted by the National Technical Committee for Plastic Products Standardization (TC48) and co-organized by the China Plastics Processing Industry Association Hollow Products Professional Committee and Changzhou Centrway Plastic Co., Ltd. The meeting brought together 17 technical experts from leading enterprises across the industry, including Changzhou Centrway Plastic, Changzhou Plastic Factory Co., Ltd., Daneng Packaging (Tianjin) Co., Ltd., and Tianjin Centrway Plastic Co., Ltd.
Jiao Bangjie, Chairman of Changzhou Centrway Plastic Co., Ltd. and host of the event, welcomed all participants and emphasized that the revision of the national standard for plastic bucket products is of great significance for improving product quality, driving collaborative progress across the industrial chain, and achieving a "quality effect" for the entire industry. Chen Xuejing, Manager of Changzhou Centrway Plastic, delivered a special report on the revised text and work plan for the national standard.
The meeting officially launched the revision work for the national standard on plastic bucket products, which had been in effect for 13 years. Participants discussed expanding the scope of the draft standard, improving validation testing procedures, and clarifying work assignments.
